I know bodies were kept on ice; I remember reading this in an autobiography once, of someone who went to see a deceased relative in the home and they were on ice.

@sdavenport1981
Maybe ask a funeral home who run the buisines from father to son since the 19th century. Perhaps they could give some answers.
I'm very curious about some answers too.

This may sound macbre but I know a lot of families kept the dead bodies in their cellars until burial. I have seen pics of moms holding a decomposing baby. How did they keep the smell down? Weird question but I have always wondered

Father Donlan, who runs the church, says all these bodies had been buried for at least 50 years and yet Brennan believes one of them was buried five years ago with no coffin. When it is confirmed the deceased was murdered, Booth and Brennan investigate the priests and administrator of the church and argue about the validity of religion.

Brennan and Zack examine corpses, which have been spilled out of their coffins, due to a burst water main in an old cemetery on the St. Agatha church grounds. However, as they identify the individual bodies to be put back in their proper place, they find one skeleton that is out of place.

Hello Boatswain and all the People:
I have seen the link who sent and believed that the episode 39 is: " The Priest in the Churchyard ". It would be interesting that someone was giving us the link to see the episode or at least to be able to copy the false photos PM - that are very well made-.
I spend to them the comments of the Wikipedia about this episode:

Hello:
I was having for dinner and seeing the series " Bones " when I have remembered an episode that I already saw when I had begun, due to my schedules of work: a few thieves use photos clergymen's PM, possibly catholic, died more than hundred years ago in USA, to know that clergymen had been buried by valuable jewelry and this way to steal the jewelry.
The photos PM (surely taken for " Bones " with alive persons as models) were very good: can anybody share these false photos PM with us?
Bests Regards: David

New member here..
Great site!! Though I see download options here, they are greyed out. Can these images be downloaded?
Also, I am working on a book of poetry and musings to be published (poss.privately) concerning photography, death, childhood, and loss of innocence.
I would really like to use a few photos as illustrations. Can I get permission to use a few if my book eventually goes to print?
Thanks
